	TATTOO NATION For years people saw tattoos as a sign of rebellion. A middle finger salute to the rest of the world. Outlaw bikers got tattoos. Sailors on leave in Singapore got tattoos. Lifers in the joint got tattoos. But now in the United States (and all over the world) one out of every three adults under forty has a tattoo! So what happened? How did a tattoo go from something that was etched on your skin, to an expression that comes from within you? Tattoo Nation tells the story of a few people who helped \|transform the world of tattoo art, and the way we think about tattoos, forever. This is the true story of the ink revolution. 	SKULL WORLD Greg Sommer is an enigma wrapped inside a mystery, encased in a Jean-Jacket Vest. An enterprising man in his early 30s, Greg, and his alter-ego SKULL MAN, are at war. Box Wars that is! Welcome to Greg’s world. A world of warriors, magic, and glory. A world of Metal. Greg is building the Canadian-chapter of BOX WARS, an international underground movement of Cardboard-based combat. SKULL WORLD follows two years in the life of Greg, and sheds light on exactly what makes him, and his goals in life, so unique. A comedic and moving journey awaits - not for the faint of heart. 	JUNKIE Junkie is a pitch black comedy about two heavily addicted, drug addled brothers, Danny (Daniel Louis Rivas) and Nicky (cult actor Robert LaSardo). When Danny decides he's going clean, Nicky reacts aggressively, driving Danny from one insane experience to another as a whole host of bizarre, surreal characters descend on their house, all with grievances to bear, debts to reclaim or trouble to cause. As Danny's life spirals out of control he must fight tooth and nail to kick the habit and rescue himself from the personal hell Nicky has consigned him to, whilst simultaneously attempting to repair the deeply damaged relationships with his increasingly bizarre friends and family. 	BLOOD FOR IRINA Irina is dying. A predator who stalks streets at night looking for blood, she has lived over a century; tormented by memory, living in a run-down motel by the sea, Irina has reached the end. Her perceptions skewed, her body and mind revolting against themselves, she waits for an exit. Her private hell is echoed by the motel manager, driven by an obsession to protect Irina and keep her secrets safe, and a broken prostitute whose desperate plight may be worse than Irina's. It's the tale of three people living a life on the fringe, trapped in a world of literal and figurative decay. 	AMERICAN GOTH An in-depth documentary of Gothic culture, which is often typified by black clothes and an interest in dark music, literature, and culture. In a post-Columbine era, Goths have been perceived and stereotyped in many ways. American Goth is a conversational documentary that asks if Goth culture poses a threat to society or if it is simply an alternative lifestyle. With a think-for-yourself approach, this guerilla film features Goths in their own words, and first-time filmmaker Ryan Rhea explores their unique place in todays society, looking at the Goth Scene, Gothic Origins, Goths & Music, Goths & Society, Paganism, Vampirism, Witchcraft, Goths & Spirituality, and Prejudice. The idea for the film came from a reaction to the 'Goth Grant', $273,000 given to the community of Blue Springs, Missouri, to investigate Goth culture. Ryan Rhea's film questioned the validity of such a grant, but ultimately provides an overview of Gothic culture, and the people in it, in a much broader context. Music by PJ Corvus.
